1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PlanterLab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

PlanterLab provides an online, browser-based procedural 3D model generator. The Service allows users to create, view, and export customization `.stl` and `.obj` files intended for 3D printing.

3. Subscription Tiers and Commercial Use

PlanterLab offers various subscription tiers, which dictate the acceptable use of the generated files:

  • Free & Supporter Tier: Files generated under these tiers are strictly for Personal Use Only. You may not sell the digital files, nor may you sell the physical 3D printed objects derived from these files.
  • Business Tier: Users actively subscribed to the Business Tier are granted a Commercial License limited to the sale of physical 3D printed objects generated by our service. Selling, sharing, or distributing the digital `.stl` or `.obj` files themselves is strictly prohibited regardless of subscription tier.

4. Intellectual Property

The PlanterLab application, its underlying procedural generation algorithms, website design, and code are the exclusive property of PlanterLab. Users retain ownership of any physical objects they print, subject to the Commercial Use terms above.

5. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features, you must register for an account using Google Authentication or email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. PlanterLab uses Firebase Authentication and does not directly store user passwords.

6. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

PlanterLab is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the printability, physical integrity, or safety of the objects generated using our software. We shall not be liable for any material damage to 3D printers, filament, or personal injury resulting from the use of files exported from our service.
