At PlanterLab, preserving the privacy of our users is a top priority. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the security measures we have in place.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide you with our services:

  • Account Information: When you register via Google Authentication, we receive your basic profile information (Email address, User ID, and Display Name).
  • Application Data: We store metadata regarding the files you generate, save, or configure within the application in our database (Google Firebase).
  • Payment Information: We do not store or process your credit card information on our servers. All transactions are securely processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, LemonSqueezy) who supply us with a tokenized subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We rely on your data to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the PlanterLab generator.
  • Process subscription upgrades and verify Commercial License eligibility.
  • Save your configuration presets in the cloud so you can access them across devices.
  • Communicate directly with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support messages.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication and database storage. By adhering to our Privacy Policy, you also agree to Firebase's data handling policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to outside marketing or data agencies.

4. Security

We implement standard, robust security procedures to protect your personal information in our systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Data Rights

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may contact our support email at any time. We will permanently erase your personal data from our databases.
